- Doctors earn differently, said Przemysław Czarnek at a press conference.

- A doctor on an employment contract at a clinic in Lublin earns 12,000 PLN gross. A doctor with a specialization. These are not exaggerated rates, quite the opposite, one could even say - he continued.

- Let's not talk here about a system that pays doctors unbelievable money, because that's not the case. There are doctors who work on contract, and now it's a matter of valuing services. Some services are very highly valued, and based on this strong valuation of services in district hospitals, even specialist doctors with extensive experience employed on contract can earn over 100,000 PLN, performing a huge number of procedures - he went on to say.

- Here, indeed, a systemic reaction is necessary, and we have undertaken it, because the most important thing is to fill the medical staff shortages - he added.
