Nawrocki:

The Russian Federation is a threat to the free world, and Putin is repeating the actions of the Soviet Union on our land

- This world order, built after 1945, came at a price. We paid it throughout Central and Eastern Europe - said President Karol Nawrocki during the commemoration of the Victims of the Katyń Crime.

- Therefore, I would like this powerful voice of silenced choirs to tell all of us once again today, and for us to realize, in recognition of the sacrifice of our heroes from Katyń, that a world without wars, a common Europe, a common world of democratic values, cannot be understood without understanding the perspective of Central and Eastern Europe, those states that know the Soviet Union perfectly and that know today that the Russian Federation is a threat to the free world, and Vladimir Putin is repeating the actions of the Soviet Union on our land - he continued.

- This is evident also on a day like today, when we pay tribute to the victims of the Katyń genocide. Eternal memory to the heroes murdered by the Soviets in Katyń, contempt for the perpetrators. Long live free, independent Poland! Long live Poland - emphasized the President of the Republic of Poland.
