The Marshal Should Tell the Truth, But Not Escalate.
"I certainly did not like the response of the American ambassador, who decidedly went beyond what is appropriate for an ambassador," said Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz in Polsat News, when asked about the words of Włodzimierz Czarzasty in the Financial Times, in which he criticized Donald Trump, and about the US ambassador's response.
"I would not escalate relations with the United States in this way, because that is again against our interest, but the Polish society deserves the truth about Americans and the American president, and the truth is that President Trump's actions today are often detrimental to Poland, detrimental to the West, detrimental to the European Union; he is responsible today for serious chaos in Iran," she continued.
"Nevertheless, a Polish marshal should tell the truth, but not escalate," she added.
