We Should Strive to Abolish the ETS Entirely
- I believe that the first demand, despite the difficulty in achieving it, [...] should be to rationalize the current policy. A policy that was not an economic policy, but a climate policy - said Wanda Buk in "Gość Wydarzeń" on Polsat News.
- First and foremost, I personally believe that we should strive to abolish the ETS entirely in Europe. Not in Poland, not to subsidize it, moving money from one pocket to another, but to withdraw from it - she stated.
- We cannot yet fully count on understanding [in the European Union] that we should at least suspend the ETS, but ideally abolish it. Perhaps that understanding isn't there yet. But I think it's worth fighting for - she assessed.
