- A letter has been received from the President's Chancellery regarding the procedure for appointing judges to the Constitutional Tribunal. This is the second letter on this matter. The first letter arrived two weeks ago, concerning alleged errors in the appointment procedure, according to the President's Chancellery. The Head of the Sejm Chancellery, Mr. Marek Siwiec, responded to that letter - Włodzimierz Czarzasty stated at a press conference.

- The second letter from the President's Chancellery is essentially a rebuttal to Mr. Siwiec's letter [...]. Therefore, I wish to declare: The Sejm Chancellery has concluded its correspondence on this matter with the President's Chancellery. We will not respond to the second letter, not because we are arrogant or unwilling in any way, but because we believe the president's stance is to prolong this matter and it clearly demonstrates bad faith - he continued.

- We view this matter as it was described in Mr. Siwiec's letter following the first letter from the president. Specifically, the entire procedure was conducted in accordance with the law, in accordance with the Sejm's regulations, and we expect the president to accept the oath of the judges - he went on to say.
