- I would like - because I have direct authorization from the Prime Minister for this - to very sincerely apologize for misleading public opinion regarding the maternity ward in Lesko. Indeed, this maternity ward is not functioning, and there was never any intention from our side, the government's or the NFZ's, to close it. The district self-government's application, which appeared three times, and the final decisions of the council also led to this maternity ward not functioning. Nevertheless, I also apologize very much for the fact that public opinion was misled. There were no such intentions - stated Adam Szłapka at a press conference.
