Siwiec on Criticism of Nawrocki for Meeting with Orbán:

I Might Take Half a Step Back, We Don't Know What Was Said There.

- I don't rule that out, because one of the President's advisors said, and rightly so, that it's necessary to talk. I am also a great supporter of talking, even with people we disagree with; that's where conversation, persuasion, and achieving one's goals make the most sense – Marek Siwiec said on Trójka, when asked about the theory that President Nawrocki went to convince Orbán to agree to unblock aid for Ukraine.

- I also don't rule out that the visible anger yesterday [...] of the President was related to the fact that he is being portrayed in this narrative solely as a supporter of Orbán. We don't know what he said there, the communiqués are very restrained, so I might take a half step back, because we don't know what was said there, but President Nawrocki certainly said loudly that Putin is a criminal – he continued.

- Perhaps fighting with his own convictions, he had to go, he had to shake hands, he had to have a photo taken, in order to say in Washington: hey, I am a loyal participant in this great operation that you are assembling here in Europe, you Americans, and this operation is called breaking up the European Union, and that's what worries me the most, not that he went – he went on to say.
