"I Don't Feel the Need to Talk to Kaczyński's Spokesperson." Mentzen Responds to Czarnkow and Proposes a "Spokespersons' Debate"

- You're telling journalists now that you would gladly participate in a debate with me, so we could clear some things up, so we could talk about them. Except, you know, Przemek, the problem is that I invited you for such a conversation last year, and at first, you were actually happy about it, […] after which the leader forbade you, and you started addressing me formally as "pan" and saying you wouldn't talk to me until I apologized to Kaczyński - says Sławomir Mentzen in a recording published on YouTube.

"I Don't See Much Reason to Engage in Any Debates with You"

- Later, you also said very unpleasant things about me in several interviews, implying I accused Kaczyński of contributing to Lepper's death, which I never said – but that's on your conscience. However, I invited you, you agreed, and then you very rudely refused me online, so I don't see much reason to engage in any debates with you now - he stated.

- With Kaczyński, well, yes, because he is indeed the decision-maker in your party, he's the one who thinks, he dictates how things should be. Whereas you, actually, now that I think about it, you are somewhat of a spokesperson for Jarosław Kaczyński. In the sense that you are supposed to say what he thinks. You've been given a task that you will say these and those things, because Kaczyński has given you permission to say them - he continued.

"I Don't Feel the Need to Talk to Jarosław Kaczyński's Spokesperson"

- I already know what you're going to say. You're going to say that we should fight Tusk, that the number one goal is to remove Tusk, that you'll do everything right now, that it's not true that you did everything wrong before. I know all of this, in the sense that I have access to your propaganda. I know what you say. In the sense that I don't feel the need to talk to Jarosław Kaczyński's spokesperson - indicated the Konfederacja leader.

"You Would Talk Like a Spokesperson to a Spokesperson"

- However, I have a different idea. Listen, Przemek, in my party, there's a fantastic person, Wojciech Machulski. He's my press spokesperson. […] I think you would get along very well. He has only one flaw – he's a complete abstainer, he doesn't drink anything. But other than that, Wojtek Machulski is truly fantastic. If we were to have such a debate between our spokespersons, in the sense of my spokesperson and Kaczyński's spokesperson, if you and Wojtek Machulski talked like a spokesperson to a spokesperson - he suggested.

"Your Influence on Your Parties is Similar – Although I Think Wojtek Has a Little More"

- You're equally articulate, I think, you argue very well. I think this debate would be really good to watch. Your influence on your parties is similar, although I think Wojtek even has a bit more influence on his party than you have on yours. So, I think a debate at the spokespersons' level would make much more sense than a conversation between us at this moment - Mentzen assessed.
