Patryk Jaki published a fragment from a meeting as part of the "Change Our Minds" series. "What guarantees do you have that this time, when we come to power, it will be different? I can give you one piece of evidence, and that evidence is the SAFE program. Please look at the party's stance now. We are acting decisively, despite all this propaganda, [...] this time we are acting decisively as we should, and no polls, no financial blackmail, nothing will influence us. Simply, it's over," said the PiS MEP.

"We have learned our lessons. [...] I myself don't hide the fact that I was afraid of how our party would behave, but now I am encouraged. Of course, there are a few MPs among us who behave differently. It's worth observing who they are, who don't learn and can't draw conclusions," Jaki indicated.

"However, from this party, now as I observe them, I can finally say that I am proud of them. In the sense that they don't let themselves be blackmailed, even though [...] the Third Polish Republic polls every day: 'that this will be treason, that the majority of Poles are this...'. Nonsense! We need to look at Poland's raison d'état. No, and that's it, and we simply have to veto it," he continued.

"I am very happy about this. This is finally the kind of PiS I wanted it to be," he concluded.

Mateusz Morawiecki responded to Jaki's post.

"Patryk, since you are now an expert and know the remedy for every problem, tell me: how did the flagship judicial reform go? And how did your IPN law serve Poland?" he asked.

"In our policy towards the EU, all significant decisions were accepted by the political leadership of PiS. It's easy to criticize from the balcony of scornful reviewers, even when you are in government – it's harder to take responsibility for something, even if you sometimes make mistakes. Only when you do something at all, is there a chance of making mistakes," he stated.

"For a long time now, you have been primarily criticizing – and not Donald Tusk, but the achievements of the PiS government from 2015-2023. A government in which you yourselves were. This is precisely why our support has been falling so much since the presidential election victory," he emphasized.
