"Since some have chosen the path of media leaks, it's time for a few words about the background of this 'war' from my perspective," Paweł Śliz wrote on X.

"Today, I observe an attempt to change the rules of the game mid-match. This action is not only unfair but also highly unethical. The situation is simple: the MPs who submitted the motion to change the regulations know perfectly well that they do not have the required 3/5 majority for personnel changes in the presidium. So, instead of convincing our colleagues from the club with substantive arguments, they are trying to forcefully change the regulations to suit their own needs," he continued in his post.

"Submitting a motion to change the regulations, and then a motion for dismissal three minutes before the end of the session, at a time when 9 out of 36 parliamentarians are absent – this is not a display of strength. It is a cynical calculation and an attempt to seize control through the back door," he added.

"From individuals who so proudly emphasize their many years of political experience – significantly longer than mine – at every turn, I would expect more finesse. We have been served an amateurish grab for power that undermines the unity of our entire community. This is not a good example for our members, who are sadly observing the entire situation," he noted.

"I want to be clear: I have no problem undergoing a support verification. However, I will do so when ALL club members can vote, not when it suits parliamentarians who are exploiting the absence of colleagues," he emphasized.

"I will not be manipulated by methods that are more fitting for bygone eras of party intrigues than for the standards we have jointly promised to introduce into Polish politics. My task is to ensure the effectiveness of Poland 2050 in parliament, and that is what I intend to focus on, not on counting sabers within the party. I have always fought for all my parliamentary colleagues, without exception. Dear colleagues from the club – my door, as always, remains open to you," he concluded.
