– The Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland, as promised, will submit its amendment that expands the protection package for miners from private mines who are to be covered by protection in the event of a mine’s liquidation. These are the same solutions as in the case of state-owned enterprises and State Treasury companies, meaning mining leave, severance pay, or allocation - said Minister Karol Rabenda.

During a press briefing, ministers from the Presidential Chancellery presented the assumptions of the presidential amendment to the act on the functioning of hard coal mining.

The ministers announced that the presidential draft amendment to the act on the functioning of hard coal mining will be submitted to the Marshal of the Sejm today.
