- As President of Poland, I will ensure, and I wanted to guarantee this to you, that you will only be subject to the discipline of the scientific craft, because this is binding for all universities and academies, and it is good practice that the scientific world and professors who receive nominations never yield, dear sirs, to ideological trends or to a certain political everydayness. This is not the world of academicism, the world of science, which is inherently linked to the freedom of research. As President of Poland, I want to give you such a guarantee - said Karol Nawrocki during the ceremony of awarding professorial nominations.
