- In conclusion, we live in very strange times. This year 2026 has truly started with an exceptional flourish. But let us look at Poland's security issue in a strategic dimension, from a perspective beyond the last few hours and looking a bit further than the next 3 weeks. Consequently, various storms, various winds, various misunderstandings and anxieties have shaken and will continue to shake the Western world - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk at a press briefing.

- But Poland must be one of those states that will constantly care about maintaining this strategic European-American bond. Not for the next year, not for the next three years, but for decades. Because this is a guarantee of security for our entire civilization, in a sense, not just for Poland. And in this spirit, I will also persuade our partners to be solidary, firm, but at the same time not to make any mistakes. Thank you very much, and until we hear from each other and see each other in Paris later today - he continued.
