Sławomir Cenckiewicz addressed a text from Gazeta Wyborcza on X, which touched upon the topic of medications he is taking. He stated that the article "contains numerous errors, misrepresentations, and lies, and sensitive information obtained from classified investigation and verification files of the SKW was used."

"I will take legal action provided by law to hold the author of the text titled ‘We know what Cenckiewicz took and concealed’ civilly and criminally liable for violating my personal rights," announced the Head of the National Security Bureau (BBN).

"It doesn't matter that the author of the aforementioned text did not disclose the names of the two medications prescribed to me by a professor of medical sciences during a medical interview. Their identification – thanks to the mentioned specifications, quotes, and descriptions – presents no difficulty whatsoever," he continued in his post.

"On Friday, December 12th of this year, Czuchnowski sent questions (also to my private phone number) to the public BBN inbox, in which he openly used the names of both drugs," he added.

"I intend to take similar legal steps against the leadership of the SKW, as the information used in the 'Gazeta Wyborcza' article comes from both the personnel security questionnaire and interviews conducted with me by SKW officers in connection with the 2021 investigation, as well as from the files of the verification proceedings," he emphasized.

Cenckiewicz assured that he never misled special services during investigation proceedings. The Head of the BBN also stated that, according to regulations, he has full access to classified information, and the blocking of this access by the ruling authorities is a "violation of the law."
