Zawisza:

The President Should Take the Initiative; His Ministers Can Come to the Sejm and Speak

- I think that on the one hand, the President would very much like to be taken into account in the legislative process. And I believe that if we have any laws that are particularly important to the government, then it is good to proceed with the assumption that it is worth processing them in such a way that, in the final analysis, they are simply accepted by the President - Marcelina Zawisza said on PR1.

- On the other hand, I believe that the President himself should take some initiative, meaning his ministers can indeed come to the Sejm and speak during the proceedings of individual laws - she continued.

- I think this is really a situation where both sides, i.e., the government side could be more open to the President, but above all, the President could be more proactive when it comes to the Polish parliament, because it is the parliament that creates laws, it is the MPs who create laws - she went on to say.
