- "Regarding symbolic support from Germany for the surviving victims, those directly affected by the war, living Polish citizens, I will naturally discuss this today and I will point out such an obvious, sad fact," stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk at a press conference with the German Chancellor.

- "Currently, there are, I'm speaking about the direct victims, according to estimates from the Polish-German Reconciliation Foundation, when I discussed this with Chancellor Scholz, there were slightly over 60,000. Today, it's 50,000. Hurry up if you truly want to make such a gesture. I will consider, if we do not receive a clear and swift declaration, I will consider next year that Poland will fulfill this need from its own funds," the head of government continued.
