- I have asked Prime Minister Sikorski to prepare information on the consequences of the court's ruling concerning homosexual marriages. I'm simplifying, I'm speaking in brief, and many theories have already emerged, a lot of emotions, understandable, this topic is also very divisive for public opinion, not only in Poland. So, I would like to calm everyone down - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk during a government meeting.

- It is not the case that the EU can impose anything on us in this matter. As you know, we are working on our own legal regulations that will govern this in a way that the majority of Poles, through the parliamentary majority, deem appropriate - he continued.
