- I completely don't understand Poland 2050's stance; I don't know if they understand what local government is. If someone wants to limit terms so much, they should start with themselves - said Rafał Trzaskowski on TVN24, when asked about Poland 2050 "going to confrontation within the coalition" by opposing the abolition of term limits in local governments.
- Why aren't we introducing such a law in, for example, the Sejm or the Senate? Let Poland 2050 answer that question. Furthermore, I don't understand this "arrangement," what does "arrangement" mean? Does Poland 2050 assume that all local government officials are embroiled in some kind of arrangement? - he continued.
- If there were such a limitation, it would make local government officials 100% dependent on political parties. Because they will only have two terms, they will have to consider what their future will be, and parties will decide who will be a candidate in the largest cities where there is a high chance that then the candidate of the strongest party will win [...] - he added.
