- The President has the right [to refer the budget to the Constitutional Tribunal], fortunately, he cannot veto the budget act. However, he must be aware that such an action naturally introduces some chaos, but what is much worse is that such a step means that public sector employees will not receive the promised raises, because according to the law, these raises come into effect after the budget act is announced - stated Andrzej Domański on TVP Info.
