Merkel Chose Putin. Tusk Chose Merkel. I Will Always Choose Poland! Morawiecki Publishes Analysis

- Germany's interests ARE NOT POLAND'S INTERESTS - as Polish-language media and EU officials have tried to convince Poles for many years. As can be seen - Merkel's legacy is eternally alive in Donald Tusk's mind and in the current government. We have a lot of work ahead of us to change this - wrote Mateusz Morawiecki on social media.

- When in 1938 Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain signed the Munich Agreement, Winston Churchill said: "You were given the choice between dishonor and war. You chose dishonor - and you will have war anyway." Today, these words sound like a warning to Europe once again. Merkel chose compromise with Russia, and did not avoid war. And today she blames Poland - emphasized the former prime minister.

- We cannot remain silent and capitulate to such scandalous slander! - stressed the Vice-Chairman of PiS.

As Morawiecki wrote: - We did not rebuild our own security only to hand it over to Berlin and Brussels again. For the sake of diplomatic courtesy and the interests connecting the current government with Germany and Brussels, we cannot pretend that Merkel's policy was "pragmatic"!.

- It was wrong. Catastrophic. And Europe is still paying for it today! Merkel chose Putin. Tusk chose Merkel. I will always choose Poland! - he added.
