- What Prime Minister Donald Tusk mentioned today is another stage, another location in this undeclared, yet significantly painful war that we are waging with Russia. I use strong words: war. We have recently recorded several serious incidents at sea. [...] We had these incidents on the eastern border. We are coping. The Belarusian services, the Russian services are helpless there [...], they are trying other options. We note these actions of the Russian services - said Jacek Dobrzyński, spokesperson for the Minister-Coordinator of Special Services.

70-meter Russian Trawler

As Karolina Gałecka, spokesperson for the Ministry of Interior and Administration (MSWiA), informed: - Yesterday, around 6:30-7:00 AM, such an incident occurred. The Border Guard, through its observation systems, noticed a Russian trawler. This trawler was sailing, of course, from the direction of Russia. [...] The Border Guard closely monitored the trawler because it was in very close proximity to the gas pipeline.

- It drifted around 300 meters near the gas pipeline, through which gas is extracted from the platform to the land. [...] Around 6:30, the vessel stopped near the pipeline for about 20 minutes - she stated.

As she recounted: - The Border Guard immediately took action. Through the radio system, they contacted the vessel. [...] The order was immediate for the Border Guard, which was to immediately leave the pipeline area. And so it happened. The vessel, the crew, complied with this order, leaving the pipeline area. Everything ended safely.

- It was a 70-meter Russian trawler. I would not like to reveal information here about which pipeline it is, or which location - she added.
