Błaszczak:

Why Weren't Drones Violating Polish Airspace Shot Down? The Ministry of National Defense Leadership Is Failing

"Of course, [I would shoot down drones], and this is yet another problem, stemming from the fact that in Adam Bodnar's prosecutor's office [...] a team of prosecutors has been appointed to press charges against soldiers who use weapons while defending our borders," said Mariusz Błaszczak in an interview with Bogdan Rymanowski on the program "Gość Radia ZET" (Radio ZET Guest).

"Why weren't that drone, or those drones, that recently violated Polish airspace, shot down?" he continued.

"No, [soldiers shouldn't shoot drones with rifles]; they have appropriate weapons, because such weapons exist, for example, the Pilica system [...]. It is clear that the current leadership of the Ministry of National Defense is failing to ensure security," he further stated.
