Szłapka:

Even with Highly Sophisticated Systems, Drones Can Get Through. There Are Always Some Vulnerabilities.

– This is an isolated incident, and of course, it can be concerning – said Adam Szłapka on TOK FM.

– This particular case is a decoy. Meaning, its purpose is [...] to fly into airspace and test its resilience. Combat drones are targeted differently. And even with very advanced drone systems and anti-drone defenses during wartime, when a country is engaged, there are still instances where a drone flies deep into that country's airspace, for example, the Ukrainian drone that crashed over the Kremlin – he continued.

– We have one incident, and not all attempts are necessarily always known, so that's why we invest in making this system secure. There are always certain vulnerabilities – he continued.

– Combat drones are, of course, tracked; that's why these systems are built, but they are never 100% impenetrable […]. Situations in which a single, individual aircraft, designed to fly in such a way that it goes undetected, enters a given country, do occur. A missile even entered Poland during the PiS government's time – he added.
