– That was not the subject of the government meeting. After the government meeting, we had a discussion on this topic, initiated, by the way, by my arrangements with Prime Minister Kosiniak-Kamysz, who chaired the government meeting. Was it heated? No, – stated Marcin Bosacki in "RMF FM's Morning Talk," when asked about the discussion at the government meeting concerning the situation related to Poland's lack of representation at the Washington summit.
– However, it was a clear formulation, or rather a reiteration by the government, of constitutional decisions and principles, stating that foreign policy has been, is, and will be conducted by the government of the Republic of Poland, and the president, in his ambitions, can only aspire to be a representative, – he pointed out.
– Let me reiterate. There was criticism of certain statements not even by the president himself, but by his representatives in this matter, who, forgetting what the Polish constitution entails, in some statements usurp the authority to conduct [foreign policy] for the president, – he continued.
