– We have very good news, which was announced today by the Minister of Defence of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. […] Due to the ongoing situation in Ukraine, the persistent conflict, and Poland's role in securing the logistical transfer to Ukraine – serving as the largest aid hub for both military equipment and humanitarian assistance – the Kingdom of the Netherlands has declared its support for systems safeguarding our airspace, specifically air defense systems – said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at a press conference in Tarnów.

– Starting this December, for the next several months, two sets of Patriot systems will be deployed in Poland to protect Polish skies. […] This is a significant effort for the Netherlands; the Netherlands possesses three such Patriot systems, and two of these are being transferred to Poland – announced the Defence Minister.

He added: – Along with these systems, Dutch soldiers – 300 of them – and anti-drone systems will also arrive in Poland.

– There will also be Dutch F-35 aircraft. They will patrol Polish skies – he announced.
