– Currently, there are about 100 people at the borders. Our main activities involve mobile monitoring, meaning we drive through. There are a few points that are continuously maintained. We simply observe how the Border Guard operates and whether any exchanges are taking place. These mobile patrols operate in areas without official border crossings, meaning river crossings, small bridges, and there we observe the situation – said Robert Bąkiewicz on Super Express's "Poranny Ring" program.

– It must be said that the situation has genuinely and significantly improved. However, because public trust in the authorities today is relatively low, that's why we're still there. I believe this is why border controls have been extended for another month – he noted.
