– We are building a comprehensive, multi-layered air and missile defense for the Polish state. This is a process that doesn't happen overnight; it requires many years of effort. What have we managed to accomplish, and what decisions have we made in recent years and months? – said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at a press conference.

– One of the key decisions was made in May last year regarding the purchase of Barbara aerostats, which enable the detection of objects even as small as 1/10 of a square meter, moving from ground level up to several thousand meters. This is an excellent complement to our anti-aircraft, radar, and radio-location reconnaissance capabilities. […] Furthermore, the development of anti-drone systems has accelerated. We are the first NATO country to be building a comprehensive anti-drone system – he continued.

– This provocation best underscores the validity of Poland's strategy for building drone forces and anti-drone systems. It's a good thing that these contracts, which I mentioned, have been concluded. We will ensure their swiftest possible implementation – he indicated.
