– Of course, a constructive vote of no confidence would then have to take place. Besides the Prime Minister, there's also the matter of staffing individual ministries, and an agreement on a minimum program, – Mariusz Błaszczak said on Radio Wnet, when asked if he would raise his hand to replace Tusk with Hołownia.

– Such a government, a caretaker one, of course, should deal with administration and state affairs until the elections, because it is always the nation that decides who holds power, so it's a very complicated process, – he continued.

– I believe that Szymon Hołownia, the Speaker of the Sejm, is rather unsuitable for a caretaker government, – he went on, asked about a scenario where Szymon Hołownia, as Prime Minister, would conduct early elections.

– I think so. [...] As for who will be the Speaker of the Sejm from December, that depends on the majority, but I acknowledge that Speaker Hołownia's beginnings were weak. However, I appreciate that he did not succumb to the pressure from those who wanted to challenge the result of the presidential elections, – he added, when asked if Hołownia was suitable as Speaker of the Sejm until the end of the term.
