Collective Bargaining Agreements and Harsher Penalties for Attacks on Emergency Services: Kosiniak-Kamysz Outlines Government Agenda

– What's on the government meeting agenda today, a few words on the most important points. We will start with collective bargaining agreements, a bill prepared by Minister Dziemianowicz-Bąk, a very important topic related to employee-employer relations – said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz before the government meeting.

– Two bills from the Minister of Justice; Minister Żurek is introducing them, but they are also a continuation and show the continuity of what Minister Bodnar was doing. The first concerns the toughening of penalties for crimes, for despicable acts committed against rescuers, firefighters, police officers, and people assisting in saving human health and life – he continued.

– The third bill we will address today concerns the Code of Petty Offenses […]. We are dealing with the burning of meadows, often involving dangerous behaviors that threaten the spread of fire to forests, potentially igniting a gigantic blaze. […]. We propose increasing fines from 5,000 to 30,000 and changes to the schedule of fines – he continued.
