– They imagined that Rafał Trzaskowski would be president, someone who would be compliant with Donald Tusk's actions. Instead, Karol Nawrocki became president by the will of the nation. A president who is active, who insists that Polish interests be pursued. President Nawrocki guards Poland, and this is why there is such fury, and why this revenge is directed against the head of the National Security Bureau (BBN), Professor Cenckiewicz. This is revenge. The manifestation of this revenge is an attack prepared, probably somewhere in the quiet of Donald Tusk's offices, but executed by Jarosław Stróżyk – stated Mariusz Błaszczak at a PiS press conference, when asked about the reasons for the conflict between the government and the president regarding the denial of a security clearance to the head of the BBN.

– There is no doubt that this man is responsible for the attack; this man, instead of focusing on the counterintelligence protection of the Polish military, is engaged in Donald Tusk's brand of politics. He should resign, immediately. If Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, to whom Jarosław Stróżyk is subordinate, is truly serious – I have my doubts, but we are checking – if he is serious about wanting to build good relations with President Karol Nawrocki's camp, then we say: we call your bluff! Let Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz submit a motion to Donald Tusk for the dismissal of Jarosław Stróżyk – he continued.

– Jarosław Stróżyk, incidentally, besides being the head of the Military Counterintelligence Service (SKW), was also the chairman of that pseudo-commission. He holds a position at the War Studies University (ASzWoj), and reportedly also at another university. Therefore, he is a person who is not engaged in the fundamental task for which he was appointed, namely, the counterintelligence protection of the Polish military.
