Instead of Seeking Cooperation, the Government Declares War on the Presidential Palace," Says Śliwka on the Cenckiewicz Case

– It's clear that recently, the government's actions can be described as thuggish towards state institutions, constitutional bodies such as the BBN (National Security Bureau). How else can you describe a situation where we have a Provincial Administrative Court ruling that explicitly states that the decision made by Mr. Stróżyk, which was upheld by Prime Minister Donald Tusk, has been overturned as non-compliant with applicable regulations. [...] From a legal perspective, Professor Sławomir Cenckiewicz holds a legal, valid security clearance, said Andrzej Śliwka at a press conference.

– So, the action being taken by the current ruling team is de facto aimed at ensuring that [...] the BBN is excluded from the decision-making process concerning security architecture. This is an absolutely harmful action. [...] This ruling team is preventing Professor Cenckiewicz from reviewing classified materials, he stated.

– We are dealing with a situation where, in a difficult geopolitical context, [...] the government, instead of seeking common ground for cooperation, is declaring war on the Presidential Palace. And these words about the will for cooperation, in reality, have nothing to do with the facts, he assessed.
