"Yesterday's meeting in Washington took place in exactly the same format as previous calls, whether Wednesday's or Saturday's with Donald Trump, in which the Polish side was represented by President Nawrocki," Adam Szłapka said at a press conference, when asked about "the absence of the Polish leader in Washington."

"Of course, there's no doubt that it would be better for a Polish representative to be there, but that's how it played out; it is certainly not a meeting of the coalition of the willing, as the President's Chancellery sometimes tries to convince us," he continued.
