– As we commence this Council of Ministers meeting, Prime Minister Tusk is representing our country in the discussions of the 'coalition of the willing' – a format established a few months ago, comprising over 30 states – where Poland plays a very important role concerning support and infrastructural security – said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz before the government session.

– There is broad understanding here of the actions undertaken by Poland, actions in which, should such an eventuality arise, Poland, on the territory of the Republic, together with its allies, will participate – he continued.

– Shortly thereafter, an informal session and an online meeting connecting with the leaders of the European Council and other heads of government of states within the structures of the European Union. These two meetings today are crucial for information following yesterday's events in Washington and pivotal for the upcoming days of meetings preceding, we hope, a longed-for, just, and lasting peace – he added.
