Tusk:

The Constitution Does Not Say the President Can Stubbornly Block Ambassadorial Nominations

- What stems from the Constitution is very simple and obvious. The appointment of ambassadors is a complicated process and requires the consent of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the President, and the Prime Minister. Nowhere in the Constitution does it say that the President can stubbornly block ambassadorial nominations - Prime Minister Donald Tusk said at a press conference. - Sometimes the problem lies in the fact that if someone abuses the provisions of the Constitution, interprets them in a way that allows, for example, for paralyzing the work of Polish diplomats or the entire Polish diplomacy, then we are dealing with such a stalemate, as was the case for many months with President Duda. I hope this will not be the case, at least on such a scale, with President Nawrocki - he continued.
