- I think I even sent Minister Szłapka information this morning that there are European countries that have special government agencies tasked with disarming fake news and providing information, where reliable information is to be found - Waldemar Żurek said at a press conference at the Świnoujście-Garz border crossing. - It seems to me that we need to sit down among ministers, also to consider whether Poland should not have such an institution as well [...] my activities in recent days have also been somehow heated up by two fake news items, one concerning the fact that I have already sent an application to the President, which did not happen at all, a very large media outlet reported it, and more respect, really, for your audiences - he continued. - It seems that there should be an institution that oversees this and somehow coordinates these actions, so we will definitely use the models that exist in other countries - he went on to say.
