If Nawrocki Vetoes the Wind Turbine Act, He Will Veto a Good Solution for Polish Companies

- The bill, which will effectively lower energy prices, freeze prices for the last quarter from the tariff rate of PLN 622 to PLN 500, and in practice later introduce cheap sources into our system, has landed on President Nawrocki's desk. And we count on the president to sign the act on cheap electricity, on low energy prices. The more renewable sources in the system, the cheaper it will be. I have before me an appeal, an open letter from entrepreneurs in the energy sector and NGOs to President Nawrocki. This is not a political letter or an appeal connected with any political party. It is an appeal signed by the Federation of Polish Entrepreneurs, as well as the National Chamber of Commerce and the Chamber of Industrial Energy and Energy Consumers. In this act, in this letter, regarding this act, entrepreneurs, Polish companies are appealing to President Nawrocki to sign this bill - stated Miłosz Motyka in the program "Pytanie dnia" on TVP INFO. - So, I would like them to be fully aware, and ultimately the decision rests with the president, that he will veto the energy price reductions, that he will veto a bill that is good for Polish energy-intensive industry, that he will veto good solutions for Polish companies. 50-60% of investment outlays in onshore wind projects remain in Poland - he continued.
