As Poland, We Will Possess the World's Most Advanced Offshore Wind Farms

- It is Orlen, in cooperation, of course, with the government, that has taken on this great challenge, a gigantic investment in wind turbines on the Baltic Sea. A few months ago, I informed about a similar investment by PGE on a similar scale, also on the Baltic Sea; here we are dealing with an investment that is perhaps even more impressive - Prime Minister Donald Tusk said at a press conference. - It's not about competition, but we are building this wind farm with the largest and most modern wind turbines available in Europe, and we are talking about an undertaking [...] which will secure, for example, if we were to calculate, electricity for 1.5 million households. The wind farm itself on the Baltic Sea [...] the area of this farm on the Baltic Sea is comparable to the area of Gdynia. [...] One such wind turbine or wind tower is taller than the Palace of Culture - he continued. - As Poland, we will possess some of the largest, most powerful wind turbines and the most modern offshore wind farms in Europe and the world - he added.
