Tuesday's Political Agenda: Nawrocki at Jasna Góra, Duda's Farewell to the Military, Secret Sejm Session on Macierewicz, Government Meeting

Today, President-elect Karol Nawrocki will pray at Jasna Góra.

At 8:15 AM, a press conference will be held in Warsaw by Cezary Tomczyk, Secretary of State at the Ministry of National Defence, concerning Antoni Macierewicz's activities as head of the Subcommittee for the Re-examination of the 2010 Polish Air Force Tu-154 crash.

At 9:00 AM, the Sejm will resume its session, beginning with a secret part of the proceedings. During this time, MPs will hear a report from the committee regarding the request for the Sejm to grant consent for the criminal prosecution of MP Antoni Macierewicz.

At 10:15 AM, a press conference will be held by Andrzej Domański, Minister of Finance and Economy. The topic will be: "From Savings to Investment – Tax-Free Investing".

At 11:00 AM, the session will resume in public mode. The Sejm will address, among other things, a draft amendment to the act on assistance to Ukrainian citizens in connection with the armed conflict on the territory of that state, followed by a draft concerning pension amounts. MPs will also hear a report from the committee on the request for the Sejm to grant consent for the criminal prosecution of MP Roman Fritz. A 1.5-hour voting block is scheduled for 3:00 PM.

At 12:00 PM, the government will convene. The agenda includes, among other items, a draft amendment to the act on mandatory insurance, the Insurance Guarantee Fund, and the Polish Motor Insurers' Bureau, as well as a draft amendment to the act on foreigners.

At 5:00 PM, a ceremony will be held in the courtyard of the Presidential Palace for President Andrzej Duda's farewell to the Polish Armed Forces.
