- I was a parliamentarian back then and I remember precisely how this conflict began. Well, Civic Platform chose more judges for the Constitutional Tribunal than they were entitled to. And while President Duda was receiving the certificate from the National Electoral Commission (PKW) in Wilanów for his presidential election, the President warned the parliamentary majority, led by Ewa Kopacz as Prime Minister. They were the ones who chose first, then Jarosław Kaczyński responded and did the same, but it was Civic Platform that started it - stated Marcin Mastalerek on Polsat News's "Gość Wydarzeń".
