- I don't know the person [Mariusz Haładyj] at all, but when they announced that he was the candidate for head of NIK, even some PiS members like Janusz Cieszyński were happy - said Sławomir Mentzen on his YouTube channel. - One might suspect that PiS would support this person for the head of NIK. [...] Fogiel replies: because it's a moral issue, because since he agreed to take this position thanks to Donald Tusk's government's majority, he thereby loses the right to be a moral person, to be a good candidate - he continued. - This is the devastation of the state. We should be happy that an important position will not be held by some party official, but by a person as independent as possible, who is hard to align with any side. There should be as many such people as possible. When there is finally a chance for such a person to appear, PiS says no. Since he wants to build a career under Donald Tusk's government, he is a bad person and such things should not happen. This is such a devastation of the state that I lack the words to describe it - he went on to say.
