- Still on Friday, immediately after my nomination [as Minister of Justice], I withdrew my civil lawsuits against the State Treasury, against the Minister of Justice. I can say that my legal representatives worked very hard because over these years there were many harassments and persecutions. These lawsuits were very extensive, the documentation enormous, so I can only thank them for their work - said Waldemar Żurek at a press conference. As he explained: - I decided that this situation was awkward and my personal rights, to which I am entitled like any citizen, are set aside in this situation. Because I have to carry out my mission and it would be awkward for me if I had to participate in this.
