Today we have an important, though predetermined, vote on a vote of confidence for the government. And this is an opportunity to present our position towards this government, towards these dozen or so months of its rule. I won't surprise you by saying that this position is highly critical, which, incidentally, is shared by a very significant part of society, which is less than 60% who assess this government as bad or very bad - stated Jarosław Kaczyński at a press conference in Warsaw. - In a short time, a very serious crisis of public finances has been brought about. Public finances in this case refer to budgetary finances, which are the basis of the state's functioning. And today we have a situation where recently we were incurring debt of a billion daily, but now it's 1.2 billion. This means that even the enormous budget deficit, which was projected in the budget bill, as everything indicates, will be exceeded, or huge cuts in public spending will have to occur - he continued. - We have a drop in tax revenues and revenues from other public levies. Simply put, the leakage of funds that the state should receive, as is legally mandated, which always occurred under PO governments, has intensified again - emphasized the PiS leader.
