Mentzen Fires Back at PiS and Bielan: "I Didn't Choose Your Candidate for You," Denounces "Moral Blackmail"
"Adam Bielan is trying to morally blackmail me, claiming that I will be responsible for Trzaskowski's potential victory. Nonsense. I didn't choose your candidate for you, I didn't run his campaign for him, I didn't build his image as a not-so-bright strongman, I didn't twist and change versions regarding the studio apartment. You are responsible for all of it," Sławomir Mentzen wrote on X.
"The attempt to force me to support Nawrocki shows how PiS views Konfederacja. As a side dish that has to do what PiS wants. Over my dead body. You can never count on that. I do not intend to end up like Lepper, Giertych, Gowin, or Hołownia," he continued.
"The sooner you in PiS understand this, the sooner you accept reality, the easier it will be for you to avoid such idiotic statements as Bielan's," he concluded.
