Mentzen on Poland's Involvement in War with Russia:
I Fear This Could Happen.
– I consider this matter absolutely fundamental and critical to the interests of the Polish state, meaning our entanglement now in a war with Russia, causing bombs to fall on our cities, is one of the most important things to avoid, and I fear this may unfortunately happen – said Sławomir Mentzen during a Q&A session in Warsaw.
– We have statements from Donald Tusk, who says we are living in pre-war times; he also frightens Poles. We have statements from the former head of the National Security Bureau that we might have a war within the next three years. These are statements from the best-informed people in Poland, and they say there is a real risk of war. So, who is frightening Poles here? – he continued.
