– Article 5 is the most important guarantee of our security, for everyone in NATO. And of course, most importantly, if one member of the alliance were attacked, all would unconditionally come to its aid. Someone who questions such words does not understand the alliance itself – stated Rafał Trzaskowski at a press briefing in Mierzyn.

– It would be extreme irresponsibility, but I assume that my opponent [Karol Nawrocki] simply lacks knowledge on the matter. So, if he wants to verify something, I would advise him to rather state in such a situation that he knows nothing on the given topic than to question what is most important to us, namely our raison d'état – he continued.
