Voluntary but Widespread
– We are talking about voluntary but widespread training. This means everyone will be able to make the decision, apart from, of course, matters related to building reserves or conscription, but we are not planning to reinstate conscription – said Cezary Tomczyk in "Graffiti" on Polsat News.

We Must Have a "Polish Model"
– We want every Polish man and woman to have the opportunity to undergo military training. In various forms, also tailored to their desires. […] The "Swiss model" is emerging as a reference point. It's an interesting starting point, but we must have a "Polish model" – he indicated.

We Want to Offer People Relief and Benefits
As the Deputy Minister of National Defence explained: – The "Polish model" is to involve encouraging people to undergo training. We want to offer people various kinds of relief and benefits, including state-provided ones, which will allow us to build an army of reservists in Poland today. This is one part of the plan.

– The second part of the plan involves all short training courses, which are a form of familiarization with the army, a first step for people to see what the military is like. Can we train someone to be a soldier in one day or a weekend? Of course not. […] But are such one-day or weekend trainings necessary? Of course they are. Because they provide a certain foundation. […] We want to popularize this and give people incentives – he continued.
