– Donald Trump will be the next President of the United States as early as next week. The world will likely look a little different from then on, and how Poland, how Polish diplomacy, shapes its relations with the new American diplomacy is extremely, extremely important – said Marcin Przydacz at a press conference.

– Now, you yourselves answer the question: do the words spoken by the most important politicians of the ruling coalition […] build a positive atmosphere with the future Republican administration? Is insulting the President of the United States, the most powerful country in the world, in Poland’s national interest? – he continued.

– We all know very well how the American administration can react to such words. I myself was in Washington not so long ago and heard what Republicans are saying about the Polish government – he went on.

At the beginning of the press conference, PiS presented a video featuring critical statements made about Donald Trump by Donald Tusk, Rafał Trzaskowski, and Radosław Sikorski, among others.
