VAT Cut on Food and Energy: PiS Submits Bills and Appeals to Hołownia
– Yesterday […] Dr. Karol Nawrocki presented three draft laws concerning VAT reductions. The first draft concerns a zero VAT rate on food […] the second draft concerns a reduction in VAT on energy from 23% to 8%, and the third draft concerns a reduction in VAT on gas, also from 23% to 8% – Mariusz Błaszczak stated at a press conference.
– We believe that these initiatives, presented yesterday by Dr. Karol Nawrocki, are aligned with the actions of the Law and Justice party. Therefore, today we are submitting three draft laws, and we count on them being supported through cross-party agreement by all parliamentary clubs – he continued.
– We are also appealing to the Speaker of the Sejm to take the draft law concerning the energy shield out of the freezer […] this draft law has been lying in Marshal Hołownia’s freezer since November last year – he added.
