"A State Can Be Excluded from the EU'. Żukowska on Hungary's Actions Regarding Romanowski
- Regarding Hungary, the cohesion of the European Union has been violated, because this is a declaration of disloyalty towards other EU member states. If Hungary believes that we are a country that poses a threat to its citizens, then this is a very serious matter, and I don't know how it will end for Hungary - said Anna Maria Żukowska on TOK FM.
- A state can be excluded from the European Union under specific rules if a portion of [...] member states make such a decision. Hungary has been systematically marginalizing itself within the European Union for several years now - she continued, when asked about what variants she would consider.
- Orbán is such a skillful politician that when he later comes to Brussels, charms the leaders of the European Commission, smiles, says something in English, it all somehow manages to be approved and smoothed over. But perhaps not in this term - she went on to say.
