- I think that if it were a law concerning the status of the nearest person, and not a law de facto legalizing civil unions, quasi-marriages, it would have a chance. It is called that, but that doesn't mean it is such a law, because the solutions enshrined in this law, as well as the objective of introducing this law, indicated by the government in the Regulatory Impact Assessment (OSR), clearly show that the aim of this solution is to introduce civil unions - stated Paweł Szefernaker in „Rozmowa Piaseckiego” on TVN24.
